The primary uniqueness of the rubber integrated with vulcanized fabrics lies in the fact that it has the qualities of flowing and an ability for self-attachment. Therefore, the material does not develop tears in the bullets or ricochet impact areas

The block is intended to replace the steel ballistic trap placed in the stop butt in closed ranges
The internal structure of the block is made from a mixture of rubber reinforced with various adhesive materials. The block has a unique internal layered structure, designed to trap, impound and contain the bullets inside it, thus serving as an independent stop butt/
bullet trap without the need for a large quantity of steel in the stop butt and all understood from this.

The flooring is intended primarily for protecting designated drilling installations in dense surroundings (such as: Aircraft, buses, trains etc.…), for the purposes of live shooting and which is currently being produced in dimensions of 500X500 mm with a thickness of: 45 mm
Installing a steel bullet absorber behind the flooring is recommended for protecting the intactness of the installation.
A curtain made entirely from natural or, alternatively, synthetic rubber, which serves primarily as the initial forward component in the stop butt/bullet trap in closed ranges.
The major purpose of the “vilonmer” is to decelerate and trap the bullets as an initial protective layer prior to them reaching the bullet trap in the stop butt. Thus, diminishing the damage to the stop butt and preserving its functionality over time.
Its secondary purpose is to trap some of the ricochets bouncing off the stop butt (where no ricochet traps have been installed.
The “vilonmer” is highly flexible and can be manufactured with a width of 1 mm and various lengths (even more than 10 m) and its dimensions can be adapted to the training installation without losing any material remnants. It is available in various thicknesses from 6 mm to more than 20 mm conditional on the customer’s needs, the type of ammunition and the shooting ranges at the range.

This range of Supergum’s ballistic fibers is produced from a binder compound and rubber mixture reinforced with ballistic fabric fibers. The structure of the material guarantees substantial deceleration of the bullets that impact with it and penetrate through it.
In order to upgrade the strengthening qualities and protect the ability and absorption of the material (as required under unique extreme conditions), integrating additional substances into the fabric /block structure is possible, for example: Kevlar or Nomex fibers.
The types of bullets fired at the range, the required size of the fabric / block necessary for the approved firing ranges at the specific training site, the quantity of bullets fired in a section of the given size of the area from a statistical aspect with the “woven” security coefficients for characterizing the site and defining the protection ability against the defined cluster of bullets of various calibers and ranges, must be taken into account
The shape and final dimension of the fabric / block is adjusted to the structural engineering requirements of the site and the customer’s unique requirements. Fabric / blocks can be ordered in a range of sizes and thicknesses. Supergum’s standard fabric /ballistic blocks are manufactured in a standard size of 20x20x30 cm for facilitating assembly and installation.
